Reminder: Cannon Strike is a game that combines elements of a tactical strategy and arcade gameplay. During some missions players will be in charge of a group of military forces, while in the others they will personally take the commanders’ seats in their battle tanks!

 Development of “Reign: the Conflict of Nations” is nearing the finish, as the game begins the final stage of testing.

The estimated release time for the game is end of 2009.

‘Reign: Conflict of Nations’ is a turn-based, historical strategy game which covers the events of 1350-1650 taking place in Russia, Poland and the Great Lithuanian Princedom.

The 3^rd of July 2009: Cannon Strike, a tactical strategy game with arcade elements, appeared in shops. This project offers two campaigns – one USSR and one for the Allies (Great Britain and France).

During some missions player will be in charge of a group of military forces, while in the others he will take the pilot’s seat in a battle tank: Soviet “T-26”, “T-34” and “IS-2”, British “Valentines” and “Churchills”, French “Somua S-35”.

 We know what you think – another strategy from Lesta, one the Russia’s main strategy games developer. But NO – this time it something different: to qualify Cannon Strike like a strategy, or at least as a strategy on its own is a mistake. In this game we have placed main emphasis on arcade thrill, outstanding visual effects, bright graphics, realistic physics and dynamic game play. The game is not too long,  with easy-to-learn controls and system requirements are rather simple.

The game combines elements of tactical strategy and arcade. After choosing the campaign – whether to play for USSR or for allies (Great Britain and France) – the player is given a number of various missions. During some missions player will be in charge of a group of military forces, while in the others he will take the pilot’s seat in a battle tank (“tank arcades”). The setting is well-known and even rather traditional – WWII with all that it has: Wehrmacht’s secret weapon, special operations, experimental tanks fights – full range of military entertainments.

The game represents a number of tanks that a player can run, including Soviet “T-26”, “T-34” and “IS-2”, British “Valentines” and “Churchills” and even French “Somua S-35”. Our bonus system allows the player to get extra weapons, ammunition and fuel. For succeeding in completing missions, the player will be advanced in rank.

Right after finishing Cannon Strike we have started the development of Cannon Strike 2: Great War - a mix of tank arcade a strategy made in WWI setting, that is very well-known for us after our first strategy project “Entente: WWI Battlefields” (overall 300 000 copies including “gold” edition). But this game’s preview will be available later – Cannon Strike 2: Great War will only be launched next autumn.
